Olive Brown Hair at Salon Vim | Jess' New Hair Color

Just had my hair colored and luxuriously treated by the team at Salon Vim, Singapore.

I'm ready! Oh, wait. My thighs look GIGANTIC here. Chakaman.

Yeah……. Angle management (and knowing how to sit properly without squeezing your thighs) rules!! Alright, I'm ready!!! Bring it on! Yeah!! *overexcited*

WIthout further ado, John and Mary started coloring my hair. I wanted more exciting color and John was also game, but I'm afraid one of my potential hair sponsor wouldn't approve, so in the end I opted for my regular color… which I don't really know the name (sorry to those who asked and about to ask) so John gave me 'Olive Brown'~~~! (ﾉ≧▽≦)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

 Love that they got me this warm water. I was having my period so warm water really helps with the cramps. ♡

Got plastic-wrapped so the color will absorb better(?)

Meanwhile, mom and bro got me this lumpia-alike snack which tasted so good on top and got super oily on the bottom. So I bit the tops and gave the bottoms to my bro instead ahahaha!

After rinsing, it's time for ♡♡♡ PREMIUM TREATMENT ♡♡♡

See those four colorful bottles up there? They're all mixed together into the taller bottle and they're there to nourish and strengthen my hair, protect its color and make it shine! (\(✧▽✧)/)*:･ﾟ✧

I ultra super duper mega LOVE this treatment because not only the process was relaxing for both my body and my mind, it also gave GREAT RESULT! You'll see! ;)

 Like that's not enough, they also gave me a Hair Mask Treatment after rinsing off the first one! I feel loved. (˘̩̩ᴗ˘̩̩ƪ) As you might already know, frequent hair coloring, bleaching, styling are kinda damaging to the hair itself, so good treatment is much needed. That's why I pay a lot of attention to hair treatment options as much as I love styling my hair!

 I don't know why it looks so red here… But anyway, LOOK AT HOW SHINY AND HEALTHY IT IS!!!!!!!! The premium treatment sure was AWESOMESAUCE! Couldn't stop touching my hair~~~

The whole process from discussing what I want, color, treatment, to styling took four. freaking. hours! Four good hours, of course! At the beginning of the session, John asked me whether I'm in a hurry or not and I said no. Thus begin my long, fruitful hair journey. O(ˆヮˆ)o

Anyway, I don't know why my hair color changes on many different lightings (yes, even before this color session). Like, just up there it looked red, light ash brown, dark brown… Now down here it looks pinkish light brown? ↓ ^^;;;
Dunno lah, most important thing is that I LOVE IT! I love my hair color(s)! ;D ;D

What kind of perfume do you like? The one that has fresh fruity scent, strong sexy fragrance or powdery floral note? Well I myself have always been into the last one. I LOVE soft floral scents like rose's, jasmine's, lily's… and it kinda confused me when I found out that a friend of mine in high school prefers fruity over floral scent *insert Jackie Chan meme here*.

This post won't be complete without me confessing my favorite perfume of all time.

Ladies and gentlemen, please give way to:

VERSACE Eau De Parfum Natural Spray. Hands down the best perfume EVAHHHHHH*!!!!!!!!! *according to myself at least lol. Well if we share the same taste, then you might have tried one of these before: J'adore by Dior, White Musk from The Body Shop, Prada Infusion, Oriflame's Delice, Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Miss Dior Cherie, etc. Now these are all the good ones (the bad ones I don't bother remembering the name), but THIS VERSACE Eau De Parfum beats. them. all. Trust me. Despite the serious look, this perfume actually smells fun, fresh, feminine, luxurious yet not overpowering… Gosh it really really really smells that good! Even my bf and my ex bfs always praise the scent lol *not that you need male approval to choose anything but it's just THAT good!*. ;D

Been using this since 2008 until today. ♡

The Best Place to Watch World Cup 2014

Finally, after waiting for 4 years, here comes...

*drum rolls*

WORLD CUP 2014!!!

Before you start being all like, "What Elle and Jess know about football anyway?"

We DON'T. Not a single thing. We don't know how a player got a corner kick. We don't know what is considered as fouls. We like Messi but we don't even know where he's from. (Do we even spell the name right?)

We only enjoy, as shallow as it might sound, the handsome players, the funny slow-motioned faces that the angry coaches make, but what makes this event even more special to us is the ENERGY that comes from it! Like, EVERYBODY celebrates it offline and online which makes us want to be a part of this celebration!

But just like a lot of you, our highest concern is to find the perfect place to have a great time watching the game. And after much consideration, we chose McDonald's as the winner for these 5 reasons:

1. COZY PLACE

When we watch an exciting match, we want to watch it in the coziest ways like we do it at home, where we can dress casually and sit comfortably so we can concentrate on the match rather than worrying about the little things. We also don't want any disturbance while we're enjoying the game, like mosquitoes or dirty environment. At McDonald's, you don't have to worry about any of that; you can enjoy the game to the fullest! :D

Being in a place where there are many football themed decorations surely makes us even more excited than we already are! xD

Look! Even the waiters and waitresses are all dressed up!

We just found out that McDonald’s has been an Official Sponsor and the Official Restaurant of FIFA World Cup for 20 years!! Whoaa :O

2. TASTY F&B

We don't know about you, but we ALWAYS feel like something's missing if we watch anything without FOOD. And who can resist McD's world-famous french fries or burger? Especially NOW since they've launched their new mouth-watering menu special for world cup like these ones:

This is not like the usual french fries out there because it comes with a delicious SHAKER which makes the taste sensation way better!

// McSpicy Peri-Peri Deluxe //

This is hands down the BEST burger we've ever tasted from McD! It contains of spicy boneless crispy chicken topped with cheese, tomato and special peri-peri sauce!

 ...GO!!!

 // Guava and Raspberry Fizz //

A bit too sweet for our taste, but still really good to cool down the summer heat!

We're telling you, you DON'T want to miss this special menu because they are LIMITED only for this event (until July 13th)! We do hope McD will make them permanent members of the menu though!

3. ECONOMICAL

As we all know, football matches last for at least 90mins, and that my friend, calls for a LOT of food and drinks, and that can mean a lot of money, but NOT at McDonald's! McD has the most reasonable price where you can satisfy your bottomless pit without having your wallet suffer too much.

4. GOOD LOCATION

With many branches around the world (34 in Jakarta alone), you can easily spot McD near your location! Imagine if you have to drive home 100 miles after a tiring match, especially if your favorite team loses.

Yep, all the red dots are McD! :D

5. 24 HOURS

For this year's world cup where the air time is not very friendly (01:00, 03:00, and 05:00 WIB, wtf), it's kinda hard to find a place to watch and enjoy the game without having your parents or neighbors yelling at you for yelling at the TV. Fortunately for you, McD opens 24/7 so it won't be a problem anymore! You can yell "GOOOOOAAALLL!!!" all you like!

If that isn't enough for you, McDonald's also teamed up with Qualcomm Connected Experiences, Inc. and Trigger to create an Augmented Reality app that will give you a fun experience with a virtual trick-shot challenge!

 The name of this app is “McDonald’s GOL!”
It's available for download in the Google Play store and Apple App Store. :)
