Work Made Easy | 'Microsoft Office 365 Personal' Review

L-R: InesArifDila, me, and a very nice MC whose name I clumsily forget -_-

What software do you have in mind when you have to do a paperwork, say like... a school essay, a presentation, a budget report, a contract / agreement letter, etc.? I myself have to say Microsoft Office because I've been using it since 2001!! Yes, it's been 13 freaking years, ladies and gentlemen, our relationship goes WAY back. ^^v

The thing I'm gonna share to you today is that Microsoft recently launched a new, cloud-based product:

Yes, designed especially for us, high mobility individuals who travel a lot or like to work outside the office and NEED to get the paperwork done without the fuss; Office 365 Personal is now available in store with very affordable price. The IDR 71,999* package includes ALL seven Microsoft Office daily heroes: Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Publisher.
*monthly auto-renewal package price
**the 1-year auto-renewal package price is IDR 719,999 /year

Complete top features you'll get out of this deal:
• 1 year subscription includes the latest full Microsoft Office applications
• Office on 1 PC or Mac plus one iPad or Windows tablet
• Easily access your docs with Office Mobile apps for iPhones, Android, and Windows phones
• Free 20 GB OneDrive online storage
• Free 60 minutes Skype calls per month for over 60 countries

Pretty neat, huh?

So anyway, few weeks ago I was invited to Office 365 Personal launching event at Crematology Coffee Roasters, Jakarta. I was also being asked to be one of their key opinion leader (KOL), together with Arif Rahman, a very famous yet friendly Indonesian travel blogger; sharing our opinions about the product on public. Being a loyal user of Ms Office (as I mentioned before ^^), I eagerly joined the opportunity and became one of the first few lucky peeps to own and try out this awesome product!

From my experience using Office 365 Personal, I gotta say that the feature I like the most is the synchronized data that allows me to use across devices.
Yup, as the presentation sheet says up there: "Go mobile. Stay productive."

I travel quite a lot and this synchronization feature would really help with my blogging activities; not to mention managing my online store from a distance! XD See, I had this problem when I was in Hongkong a couple months ago. I needed to send my assistant GOWIGASA's daily finance report so she can proceed with the shipping. But it was an unexpectedly hectic morning so I had no time to do it until I reached the MRT. So, among the crowd inside the train (I was lucky I got a seat!), I pulled my laptop out of my luggage (needed to skip to another town that morning), found that it only had 13% power left (O_O;;;), dimmed the monitor light to the last bar, did everything in a flash and......... luckily managed to send it right after the power reached 2%! *whew*

Well anyway, imagine if I had this Office 365 Personal already then, I wouldn't have to go through all those troubles! I'd just do it all on my phone and send it in a jiffy. Wait, I wouldn't even HAVE to send it because it automatically syncs with my PC back home (okay, my assistant doesn't have the access to my computer but I can always ask my brother to copy the file and give it to her ^^)! Saves a lot more time and energy, huh?
P.S. The free Skype calls would also help a lot with the business, while the large *also free* 20 GB online storage PLUS additional 7 GB SkyDrive personal cloud storage allows me to roam around without my USB. It also lets me compile large sized photos and files securely before finally printing them on paper or publishing them to the blog. ( ˆˆ )

Took a quick OOTD shot and then...

A cute barista (the one on my left) came over and asked me to take a group picture before I finally took off. ^^v

Okay then, thank you so much for reading and see you guys on my next post~ ;D

Orange! Feat. Etude House Play Nail Polish Review

 Howdy!

Today's outfit post features colorful outfit from GOWIGASA and (also) colorful nail polishes from Etude House

Sorry for lack of decent pictures of my manicure. Being unable to paint my right hands right, I ran to a cheap nail parlour nearby and ended up with THIS ugly manicure, which I couldn't possibly remove because it was already 9 PM by the time it was finished and I had a morning flight the next day and I needed to take pictures of this post right there right then. Come to think about it, it was all my stinginess' fault for not going to a better nail parlour, not to mention my bad time management for leaving everything to the last minute. Ah………. T_T

Anyway!
I'm making up for that with my pretty decent pedicure here. Not bad, huh? ;D
Loving my candy colored pastel nails!

Overall, Etude House Play Nail Polish has nice consistency, colors pop out nicely and I just needed to swipe twice to get the stronger coat, whereas the colors have appeared at the first swipe. I added a coat of glossy finish top coat with quick-dry effect and my nails went dry very fast and lasted that way for two whole weeks. It also happens to have 130 friggin shades to choose from!! XD
Yea that's a lot of nail polishes! XD

#OOTD
To complement my colorful nails, I put on neon colored tied-up button down shirt and a pastel colored flare skirt; both of lightweight materials to tackle the humid, hot weather in sunny Bali. I combined them with my navy striped bikini (forgot where I got it from) which nicely matched my striped sunnies ^^.

Okay then, thank you so much for reading and see you guys on my next post~ (ˆˆ)づ♡

3CE Review | Glossing Waterful Foundation + Highlight Beam

Hello! I'm back with new product review~
Today's stars come from 3CE (3 Concept Eyes), one of the hottest Korean brands right now. Introducing...

3CE Glossing Waterful Foundation
Mine is in #NUDE BEIGE. The frosted glass bottle comes with a pipette, very cute and economical! I think Imma use it for something else when it's empty. XD
As you can see, the 3CE Glossing Waterful Foundation made my pale skin look more vibrant and glowing. Texture was very light and coverage was not so good but as written here (or see image below), it is purposely made that way because it is more likely intended for everyday use, so our skin can still breathe easily while having that healthy, glowing look. More plus point, it is enriched with SPF 15 to protect your skin from harmful sunlight. Personally, I think it delivers what it promises, but I like my skin a bit matte because it is already very oily by nature, so this wouldn't be my first choice for skin base. But I think it would be great for those with dry or super dry skin!
Click here for complete information about this product.

3CE Highlight Beam
The stylish matte bottle comes with a cap and a pump. Very hygienic and the pump works great (pushes just the right amount as intended).
Just a small amount of the 3CE Highlight Beam has made my skin glossier and a better light reflector. Notice that it also gives glittery effect. This one was purposely made for face and body use, so you can also use it on your collarbones, shoulder, shin, etc to highlight those features. ^^v It was easy to blend, soft, very lightweight and non sticky. Click here for complete information about this product.

Both products on my face, taken indoor in the afternoon with flashlight:
I also patted on loose powder above the foundation to make it less glossy on my already-oily face, but it didn't stop the glowing effect, especially with the highlight beam on top.

What I Wore:

I used the Glossing Waterful Foundation on my whole face and the Highlight Beam on my cheekbones and my nose.
Okay then, thank you so much for reading and see you guys on my next post~ (ˆˆ)づ♡

Etude House Disney XOXO Minnie

A rather short review of (some of) the new collection from ETUDE x Disney: XOXO, Minnie; a collaboration concept that comes in limited editions.
Minnie Wink Lash #02 (미니 언더 래쉬), Minnie Touch Blusher (미니 터치 블러셔), Minnie Kissing Lips (미니 키싱 립스)
Okay, I have to admit that the urge to make this post is simply because it's DISNEY!!! I'm a huge fan, pardon me. Not a big fan of Minnie Mouse in particular, but still, it's Disney and I want need a touch of Disney in my blog!! XD
So, what I'll be reviewing today is these three items I got from my Instagram sponsor:
• Minnie Wink Lash #02 Minnie Under Lash (2호 미니 언더 래쉬)
• Minnie Touch Blusher (미니 터치 블러셔)
• Minnie Kissing Lips (미니 키싱 립스)

Let's start with the under lashes!
Minnie Wink Lash #02 Minnie Under Lash (2호 미니 언더 래쉬)
I don't really use bottom false eyelashes in my makeup routine because most of them make me look too gothic or too dolly but this one is veeeeery natural! It is very light in texture, the spacing of the lashes is just right (not too close to each other, most importantly) and even the color is not black, but brown, I believe. It comes with the glue inside the packaging, but I prefer using my D.U.P EYELASHES FIXER EX. The strip, however, is a bit too thick for my liking, which made it a little uncomfortable to wear. But so far, this is the best bottom lashes I've encountered.

Moving on to the blusher.
Minnie Touch Blusher (미니 터치 블러셔)
Quoted from the back of the box: "This is a multi blusher that flushes cheeks for a lovely Minnie look." As you can see, it has cool, pastel undertone of Lilac, Pink and Peach (on Minnie's face! So cute!! ✧_✧). As lovely as the colors are, I prefer rosy pink or peachy pink blushers because I like warm undertones more than cool ones. It doesn't come with a mirror or a brush. It does, however, create a very sheer feminine pink on your cheeks and it suits pale skin best.

Last but not least, the lipstick!
Minnie Kissing Lips (미니 키싱 립스)
This is my favorite of the three! I like red lips, but I never dared enough to swipe a bold, red lipstick on my lips; normally, I'd just dab it a little, rub my lips together and lick them to create naturally glossy (or grossy jigong-sy? lol) red lips. But THIS TIME I tried to swipe it on and tadah~~ looks pretty good, yes? Hahaha. I even swiped it a little out of my upper lip line for perkier look lol. This lipstick has a faint fragrance that smells pretty good to me. It also creates glossy finish (if you prefer matte finish, you can blot your lips with a tissue after using it. The color will stay and you'll have equally gorgeous red lips!) AND most importantly, the texture is creamy, it glided smoothly and felt very moisturizing on my lips. The color also stayed put for a pretty long time. I love it!

Now, now, all the mentioned points above lack one thing for sure: THE UBER CUTE PACKAGING DESIGNS!!! Gosh, I love them sooooooo much, they're so kawaii! I think they're the best selling point for this collection lolol. They also put attention to the little details, for example: XOXO means Hugs and Kisses, so they wrote it in the back of the boxes, just below the XOXO Minnie signature ^^. And, oh, even the barcodes are in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head. So, so cute!

// OUTFIT REPORT //
Earlier before; went for the opening of UNIQLO store in Mal Taman Anggrek (in case you're wondering, I haven't put on the Minnie Under Lash and Minnie Touch Blusher in this photo. I wore the Minnie Kissing Lips already, though; dabbed-kissed-licked a.k.a. jigong style):
GOWIGASA Red Knit Reindeer Sweater (upcoming collection), Chambray Relax Shorts in Blue Jeans

Alright folks, that's all for today. Thank you for reading and see you guys on my next post~ ^^

Hugs and kisses,

MIZZU Eyeliner Pen Review + GIVEAWAY!

Growing up, I think the most important make up tool for me was none other than Eyeliner. I remember borrowing my mom's pencil liner and using it every day after school, admiring how lovely it made my eyes look: bigger, rounder and livelier. I would happily apply it on my eyes, no matter how smudgy* it was.
*Pencil liners tend to smudge easier than liquid ones.

That being said, I tried using liquid liners too, but believe me, those brushes are no beginner-proof. At first trials, you may end up brushing it too thick / too much / too messy and because most liquid liners are kinda tricky to remove, once it goes wrong, you must remove it and start all over again until you get the perfect lines you want.

Along came MIZZU Eyeliner Pen~~~
I WISH it came out earlier, so I wouldn't have to deal with all those eyeliner miseries up there. Oh well, better late than never. At least NOW I get to abuse it. ^^v

See the pen tip up there? It makes applying liquid liner much easier than using the usual brush because it's steady, yet the ink glides easily when applied. It's like drawing with a spidol instead of a watercolor brush. Beginner-proof: check!

The pigmentation is pretty good, not 100% jet black at first application, but it's buildable. The only problem is, if you have done applying it and it's already dry, you don't wanna reapply the liner on top of it because it would wipe the previous layer. So my tip is: apply a single thin line on your eyelid, and if you think it's not enough, quickly reapply and reapply until you get the look that you want, then let dry.

Two days ago, I wore it alone (no mascara, eyeshadow, etc) on my eyes to really see its staying power. It was a very hot and humid day and I was too lazy (or stingy) to turn on the AC but surprisingly, MIZZU stayed on for the entire day! No smudging, flaking, etc, except on the inner corners of my eyes, where it often gets teary.

Despite all that, it is very easy to remove (it takes me only a few drops of eye makeup remover on a cotton pad and I don't even have to rub. I'd just wipe gently and it'll take off completely), so your eyes won't feel the torture of cleansing afterwards lol. I find this a super plus point, because the skin around your eyes are the most fragile, therefore excessive rubbing and pulling can easily cause eye bags and wrinkles.

The market price is IDR 25,000 - 50,000 (USD 2.5-5) for a piece (2ml). Totally affordable for such useful tool, right? I can hear eyeliner newbies cheering out there lol.

One more thing, MIZZU is 100% Made in Indonesia. Yep, you can check out its BPOM number here. Isn't it nice that our local products keep improving their quality, yet they still make em affordable to us? ^^

Done with the review, it's play time!
I created three looks using MIZZU Eyeliner Pen for this post. Here goes!

// MIZZ Schweet //
I applied very thin lines on my upper lids to achieve that innocent-sweet-girly look. Pulled the lines a bit longer and downward to make my eyes look droopily larger.
Pastel Striped Sweater: GOWIGASA

// MIZZ Chic //
For this look, I simply recreated the MIZZ Schweet look and added tiny triangles at the outer corner of my eyes. This is an easy-peasy way to add a stylish and playful look for your eyes.
Cross Sequin Asymmetrical Long Shirt & OBEY Blue Snapback: GOWIGASA

// MIZZ Smokin //
For this sharp and sexy look, I lined both my upper and lower lash lines. The point of this look is the lower lash line: you want to leave the inner corner of the eyes unlined for a slightly softer look, and make sure that the lower lash line connects with the outer corner of the upper lash line.
Leopard Studded Washed Denim Jacket: GOWIGASA

**GIVEAWAY**

So, which one of the above looks is your favorite? Tell me in the comment box below which and why do you like it and WIN A set of MIZZU Cosmetics Products (MIZZU Perfect Wear Eyeliner Pen + MIZZU Power Volume Mascara Waterproof)! ;D
Three (3) lucky winners will be picked randomly by the end of the month and each will be given the prizes above!
The prize will be delivered to each winners' address of choice (MIZZU Cosmetics will take care of the shipping charge)

You got that right, girls. Just comment and WIN! ;D
