Warm Color Palette

Today I wanted to play with a warm fall color palette, but I tied up my shirt to give that summer feel because, y'know, it's always summer in Indonesia :) Although lately we get rainy or at least cloudy day every day, sigh. I hate it. Well, mostly because I can't take good photographs when it's dark outside. Good light is VERY important to get good results- especially outfit photos, and daylight is the best♡

Sometimes Often, I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning thinking, "Yay, I can take some outfit pictures today!" then I hurried into the shower, put on full makeup, did my hair, and dressed up. Then, all of a sudden, the sky became dark and rain was pouring down WTF, stop giving me false hope please! #firstworldproblems

Anyway, I just watched 'Frozen' tonight with Jess, mom and bro, and we loved it!
[Spoiler Alert]
My favorite scene was where Elsa escaped to the mountain and finally had the courage to just be herself. It was just beautiful and whimsical when she built her very own ice castle! She also became much more beautiful when she (finally) smiled joyously with her blonde hair down. Not to mention THE dress, omg! I WANT.

I also found the scene where Anna was ridiculously in love with Hans so amusing and wtf haha..

Another thing that I loved from this movie was it taught us that true love is not always between two lovers. It can be between siblings, and in this case, sisters—which I can very much relate to :)

Odango Hairstyle

What I Wore: Blue Polka Dot Tube Top from Haji Lane, Singapore | GOWIGASA Brick Red A-Line Candy Skirt | Trench Coat from Japan | White Olga Deandri Shoes | Forever21 Gold Chain Necklace

Hi! This is one of the outfits I wore for my Singapore trip last month and back when my hair was still brown (with ugly black roots, wtf). I was trying out this cute hairstyle called Odango (お団子); it is a reference to a Japanese dumpling, and is used to describe hairstyles in which the woman's hair is bound in spherical or nearly-spherical buns on her head. To get this hairstyle, you just need to first create two pigtails using two hair ties (or rubber band) and then twist them and tie them into knots using another two hair ties. It's so simple, go try it yourself! :D

Chilly Weather

Fall has arrived in some parts of the world, but not in Indonesia; it's pretty much Summer all year long here. Anyway, it's the season when the leaves fall from the trees and it creates chilly weather. So, today for a Fall-themed outfit, I wore a three-layer outfit: White buttoned-up shirt under a grey shirt and a mustard wool coat over it. :)

Well, since I cannot stand cold weather, I'm pretty sure I'd add black tights to this outfit if I were actually in a country that experiences Fall/Autumn season. And maybe a scarf around my neck. And mittens. But, if I wore all of them in Jakarta, even if it's just for a half hour or so, I'd die.

Found this pretty wall on my way to the photoshoot location, so I just had to make a stop and took some pics there, hehe

So much love for this top, the material is very soft and cozy, and it's really flattering to my body!

The Stag and the Owls

What I Wore: H&M Sweater and Bag | Romwe Stag Necklace | Suite Blanco Owls Belt | Forever21 Heels

Wearing this stag necklace reminds me of the TV series I'm currently hooked on... Game of Thrones. Do any of you watch it? Well if you don't, I highly recommend it! It's about seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros with jaw-droppingly beautiful cinematography and award-worth acting.

(IMDb rate: 9.4/10 - Genres: Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Action)

My favorite characters are Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, and Arya Stark :)

Cat Walking

What I Wore: ALL GOWIGASA except shoes from Forever21

This is the outfit that I wore last Saturday and at the same time... another teaser for Gowigasa's upcoming arrival! Yayy! You might have seen this stunning floral dress from this post, and the cute cat-shaped bag from this post. 

So, what's really new here is the COAT. Oh, the coat. I'm just so smitten with it! I love how it's just a little bit longer in the back and the fact that it offers a classic elegant look, or you could say... a Japanese/Korean look. Not to mention the colour is neutral so it can go with anything you'd like to pair it with :D

I'm also captivated by this floral dress for its simple yet flattering look; girly but also ladylike. And the colour is so fresh! Such a stunner for many occasions.

Warm Feel

Yes, I wore this floral denim cropped top again, but instead of pairing it with other pastel colors like the last time, today I mixed it with earth-tone colors to give it a warm feel.

Anyway don't you just looove the color of my pants? I got it from H&M for like IDR 160K / USD 16 only!! xD

Moving on to the outerwear...

This oversized cardigan is one of my favorite outerwears, ever. I'm so obsessed with it that I carry it with me almost everywhere I go. It keeps me warm and I just love the fuzzy and soft fabric which I think is perfect for snuggling up! Plus, the color is neutral so it goes with whatever colors you like without looking too much. :)

Floral and Pastel

As much as I love wearing edgy or tough-girl clothes, I still can't resist dainty floral patterns especially in delicate pastel colors. They are just incredibly sweet and dreamy and remind me of babies! Haaa~ :) I always fall in love every time I see them in stores.
