"Whether checkered, tartan, or houndstooth, we'll all be marching straight into Fall 2013 with a wardrobe of plaid jackets, dresses, trousers, and more." -ELLE Magazine
What I Wore: Motel Rocks Top | GOWIGASA Red Plaid Shorts and Square Backpack | Do-A-Fashion Navy Coat | Boots from Japan
It's that time of year again - Back to school! So why not make it the theme for today's outfit! :)
I chose these shorts because I think plaid always plays along with that school-girl look. And this navy coat is the ideal pick for this theme because not only does it cover me up, it also kind of looks like a school blazer, don't you think?
For the top instead of wearing a white button up shirt like a typical school uniform, I chose this mesh cropped top with cross beads to add a bit of goth element to the look. Wouldn't it be cool if my hair is black with straight bangs just like Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill? Ha!
Actually this is far from the school uniform I used to wear. Sooo far that the only things I would be allowed to wear from this outfit are my backpack and coat! Not even colored soft-lenses.
Writing this post just reminded me of how much relieved I am to have graduated from my school.
