Nice People

Sheinside Bart Sweater | GOWIGASA Peterpan Collar Top (as inner) | Forever21 Cobalt Blue Pants | JuneandJulia Lola Boots | GOWIGASA Backpack

Just got back from our short trip to Bandung. Although it was a business-purpose trip but we had a lot of fun AND lessons as we met many talented, smart, funny, yet so humble people (my favorite kind of people!) ♡
Thank you Bisma Karisma and Theo Faybriean for being kind and helpful hosts. Nice people DO exist! :)

QOTD:
For what it's worth: it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Keep Moving Forward

The Editor's Market Sequin Top | Forever21 Skirt | Comfit Shoe Purple Heels | Forever21 Mint Purse

Have you ever felt like the Universe is trying to tell you something?

Every once in a while something strange or should I say, a series of unfortunate events, happens to you that can only mean the Universe is sending you a message. Right now I'm at the point of figuring out what the message is.

But I guess whatever it is, I will always keep moving forward, being positive and have my faith in Him. I believe that what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. That has always been my way of living my life.

But it's never the same, when you lose some, you gain some."

Shades of Green + Tokyo Banana

Forever21 Hello Kitty Sweater, Emerald Green Blazer, and Mint Purse | Laceorie Lilac Wedges | Pants from Singapore
Feeling a bit "green-ish" today, so I went with this cute Hello Kitty Sweater in green fluorescent, paired it with my favorite emerald green blazer and finish off with a dainty mint purse :)
To add some patterns, I wore this snake-skin pants I got from Singapore. It also works as a neutral shade, allowing the green colors to pop. And to complete the look, I wore these sweet lilac wedges from Laceorie which match perfectly with the mint purse!

Anyways, you guys might have heard about this super exquisite snack named Tokyo Banana. I first tried it when I went to Japan several months ago, and boy did it taste gooooooood. It smells like... banana paste? I don't know, it just smells very good! And it has this super soft textures– kind of like a sponge cake (I love to press it softly against my lips before I eat it hehee), and the filling is creamy and perfectly sweet, OMG!

The down side is... they are only sold in Japan. That's why I was very happy when I found out that Sugar and Spicy (Indonesian online store) sells them online! So, YES you can satisfy your sweet tooth right away! :D

Thank you, Sugar and Spicy!

From Flat to Fab!

This is actually one of the outfit I wore when I was in Bali last weekminus the cardigan. I put on this comfy cardi from Gowigasa to add some color pop to my neutral outfit. I really just love how vibrant the colors are. :)

For shoes I went with these casual, suede ankle boots from Forever21 which is the same shoes that I wore here. They are also one of my everyday-shoes. So comfortable and the color can match just about anything, love them!

And for accessories, I wore this turban that I bought from a store called "Somewhere" in Seminyak, Bali. What I love the most about turban is it can add so much volume to the crown area of your hair. From flat to fab! ♥

Dang, my hair has gotten so long. I guess it's about time to cut it shorter. The last time I had a hair cut was almost a year ago!
Two women wearing turban(s)! lol

December 28, 2012

It's the most beautiful time of the year.

Although my family and I don't celebrate Christmas per se, I do like to give gifts to my Christian/Catholic friends and cousins, and of course to get in the spirit of it by simply having dinner or watch some movies. Christmas has always been a magical time for me the Christmas lights, the decorations, the songs... I wish I could experience a beautiful white Christmas someday, with the people I love; it would be awesome! :)

December 24 Christmas Eve

I went to Plaza Indonesia to have some late lunch at The Playground before buying movie tickets (The Man with the Iron Fists, not recommended btw). They have fun decorations that resemble kids' playgrounds and what I love the most about them is their Aglio Olio. I always request for it to be extra spicy and extra mushrooms, and they never disappoint me.

Had a simple dinner at The Ritz-Carlton (Pacific Place) Hotel with Jess, Yansen, and Jess' boyfriend. The food quality and the service are excellent as expected from them. And it's not too crowded, so that's another plus point for me. Anyway, I used to work there as an intern for 3 months hehe...

Btw New Years Eve is around the corner! Do you already have plans? Well Jess and I are going to have dinner with our big family at Mandarin Hotel, but we still haven't decided yet what are we going to do after that (for the countdown), whether partying with friends or playing fireworks with family or maybe just watching some dvds peacefully. Either way, we will surely express our gratitude to God because 2012 has been an amazing year for us! See you next year! :D

GREEN VELVET

"Dark green is my favorite color. It's the color of nature and the color of money!"
–Leonardo DiCaprio

You've seen my post wearing a red velvet skirt, right? (Click if you haven't!)
Well, say hello to her sister which shares the same beauty and elegance... Green Velvet! Lol.
In case you are wondering, they still have one little sister which you'll get to meet tomorrow at GOWIGASA's new arrival!! ;D

This time I chose to wear the skirt in a less feminine style than the red velvet one. I paired it with my GnR cropped tee from H&M, which you may have seen it in my old post; LOLA boots from JuneandJulia (I feel like I haven't worn them in ages!), and I'm wearing black sheer tights to give the overall look an extra sense of mystery.

For accessories, I just went simple with my usual black hat, a gold chain necklace from forever21, and a studded skull sling bag from GOWIGASA.

Don't forget to stop by our web store tomorrow at 11am as we are uploading so many new stuff! XD

Aztec Bralette

Amber Avenue aztec bralette | Romwe pink skirt | Gowigasa purse bag | Forever21 gold chain necklace | Michael Kors gold watch
GOWIGASA Alexa purse bag

If you feel like you have seen this bralette somewhere, you've probably seen it from this post.
Yes, I'm wearing my current favorite bralette from Amber Avenue for like the 10th times, because I just love it that much!! And I'm pretty sure you will catch me wearing it again. ♡

Moving on to the bottom half of the outfit, I wanted to throw something that screams "FUN!" to tone down the sexy vibe that comes from the bralette. And I think every girl can agree that there is no color more fun than hot pink! ;D
(Thank you Romwe!)
By the way, Jess and I have made a VIDEO for you guys!! Hopefully we will put it up soon, so stay tuned! :D
